Morning Car Wash before work

Its been sometime, I haven’t posted anything here due to busy setting up my new family blog ThresholdCulture.com

I’m really glad this morning I manage to wake up around 7.30am, my goal for today is to wash my car before I went to work. My Scarlett have been very very dirty since Conemasters Gymkhana challenge.

My Scarlett has done it’s very best in the gymkhana, too bad ever since I’ve bought it I’ve never wash or even treat it to a auto car wash drive thru. I can feel the dust getting ticker, body paint getting less attractive than usual and even the slick old-skool LongChamp rims are dark in color now.

I really enjoyed washing my car, watching it looking cool and shine again gives me a big sense of accomplishment. In order to record these accomplishment, I’ve steadied my DSLR on a high spot to take a self portrait of myself while washing Scarlett.

My LongChamp rims looks good as new after wash, 100% sense of accomplishment! Hahaha

Bling bling! Omg the sunshine are so bright it hurts my eyes >..< wakakaka

Hand wash is the best! woohoo!

We are Conemasters Ready!!!

This is a shot of me and my younger brother Allen’s Ride! We are proud to say that WE ARE CONEMASTERS READY!

GoPro mount coming from Beijing soon!!!

I’ve bought the mount for GoPro camera during end of September, planning on borrowing my buddy Dorifto Neko’s GoPro camera while we’re on the floor of Conemasters! It will brought us some really live and nasty video footage of actions from top of the car or even inside the car with 3rd party view angle XD

Just hook up the line and track the package with China Post, i’m very glad to see it has passed China Customs and left Beijing International Airport yesterday! Counting down the days, it might showed up on my doorstep anytime starting tomorrow, wahahahaha!

Can’t wait to shoot some live actions with Neko’s bro GoPro!! XD

Taking off the Rear Ultra Racing Bar from my KE

The Ultra Racing Rear bar from my KE70 is there the day I bought this baby, there’s a slight risk that this bar gonna make some collateral damage to my car chassis. So my buddy Ben & Victor suggested me to take it off. One fine Monday evening after work I decided to try on myself, some lil DIY fun from having a proper project car in the garage :D

It was raining that night, my younger brother Allen was asleep after long hours of Over Time from his current company. Decided not to bother him with the right tools to use for those nuts, so I get what I have from my dad’s limited tool box.

Har! a wrench or whatever its called, tried it on the first nut wouldn’t even move an inch, tried the 2nd one successfully BUT it was 30-45mins for only 1, LOL!

Called brother Victor for help, haha thankfully with his sleek Stanley wrench set, it was very very easy to take off those nasty nuts! Thanks so much for helping me take off the rear bar BRO!

CONEMASTERS X MEAN MACHINES

CONEMASTERS X MEAN MACHINES

Yeah, finally waited so long to have a gymkhana event in northern region! My first and last gymkhana was like 2 years+ back when I enter with my Pug 206 in Sunway Carnival Mall open carpark. After all that, GRA seems to be holding all their GRA gymkhana events in KL only… As an Islander, I seldom go to the mainland as I can get everything I need in Penang Island unless special incident or friends invitations only I will drive there.

Driving from Penang to KL are crucial, having to drive all the way might took me 4hrs+ with safety speed limits in tack, and after that I have to prep myself for the competition of time, after my competition I still have to drive all way back up to Penang Island for maybe another 5hrs+, that took me like nearly 10hrs just hitting the road thru & flow, OMFG!

I still believe that northern region have their crowd, racing enthusiasm or gymkhana passionate people. Just that they have the mis-conception of motor-sports racing is dangerous, costly and can only be done by professionals.

There is a car club here in Penang I wouldn’t mention the name, they had quite numbers of good quality japanese cars, they are quite young in age and gymkhana potential (from my point of view), better automotive knowledge than me obviously. But WTHell, they wouldn’t even thought of entering a proper gymkhana event all they did was parking their car beside the event for autoshow purposes, I was thinking “what a waste”…good car, good mods, deep pockets…Sigh…

I’m really thankful for BadboyBen & VictorGR aka DoriftoNeko for their effort of bringing Motorsport to Northern Region! I believe this Conemasters X Meanmachines Gymkhana Challenge is gonna be a great one!

I sold my Peugeot 206 for a red 30yr old Toyota Corolla KE70 to take my motorsport passion to another level, alot alot of people been asking me “Are you out of your mind?” “The hell are you thinking?” “Why do you wanna change a car like that?” Yeah, driving a comfy continental car might be somebody’s dream, but not for me. I wanted a little more out of my daily driving machine, it has to be RWD, alot of aftermarket parts, eye-catching!

Just learnt how to do a proper 1.5 round donut yesterday, the feeling is super! Thanks to Victor Bro for the coaching! More to come with my baby KE70^^

Yeah finally InitialD AA level up to 9 !

After I had my subway breakfast at 9am in a fine Sunday morning, I’ve decided to go for a virtual touge on the top floor of Queensbay Mall.

Initial D arcade since Ver1 was always the hot topic among car enthusiasm, its not a surprise that everytime I go to an arcade centre near my house there will be a long long queue with a bunch of tokens in the players hand. It’s sad that in the Penang Island only 2 malls had them, Gurney Plaza & Queensbay Mall, both only have a fuking pair. You wanna play after 11am, you’ll have to earn it or queue for hours!

For once I’ve finished my gym at 9.30pm, had a small bun and rush to the arcade and see if I’m lucky enough…Damn there were 3 dudes waiting there already, after watching them made their move it was 11pm…bummer the tokens counter were closed either.

Yesterday, I went early being the first visitor to the arcade, grab some tokens and here I challenge the International Battle, surprisingly Japan dudes were early! Didn’t thought I would find any challenger on the net, won the first battle accumulated 2 consecutive winnings but lose the 3rd one. Advancing from Level 7, 8 then 9 in the last race.

Finally beat the yellow EK9 after like RM10+ maybe, kinda tough track all those tight chicane and cornerings. Beat the black RX7 chick and here came the Blue S2000 uncle, obviously lose to him on the first battle :P

Project KE… Coming soon!

Stay tuned for “Tar Pau” ordering !

This Movie remind us NOT to HANGOVER or mabuk! XD

Haha last Wednesday which was the Hennessy Artistry party night, I’m too excited that I overdo myself with overdose of “on the rock” neat Hennessy VSOP!

I cant believe that I got so drunk that night that I couldnt drive myself and friends back home, Jessica was kind enough to fetch me, Melina & Pei Shan to my home where Shan park her car beside my house. Then Shan drove the drunken couple back to Melina’s house, haha your right the Drunken Couple is form by Me & Melina !! I remember that I vomited for at least 3-4 times along the way home :P It was a fun night with a bad experience of overdose alcohol ! hahaha that was my first drunk experience, thank god that I didn’t hang over the next day thanks to my supplements taken before the party :D

Unfortunately, Melina hang over the other day, I’m surprised that she could control her drinking during the after party at 69 Mansion the following Saturday night XD

Enough of my 1st drunken 1/2 hang over experience. This movie totally reminds us of not to hang over and some crazy stuff we might done during the event. The wolf pack is 1 bunch of crazy dudes, i watched the trailer of part II kinda like it guess I’ll have to go watch the Part I before I proceed to the 2nd episode XD Totally laugh the hell out of me, these guys are the pioneer of Hanging Over !

Hennessy Artistry! HERE WE GO!

Yeah Yeah I was super excited when I first get the invitation sms! Can’t believe that I actually got the VIP passes from among so many penangites! It will be so fun, havent been to 69 Mansion before heard it was a very nice beach side party paradise ! Counting down to 9pm, cant wait >..<

Stay tuned for more hot pictures from the most happening party tonight ! XD
